This is a good example of a Canadian Ross Rifle Bayonet with original leather scabbard. Both the scabbard and the bayonet are marked with a Flaming Ordnance Bomb and "U.S." along with a Candadian Gov't Broad Arrow. The bayonet is marked, "ROSS RIFLE CO., QUEBEC, PATENTED 1907". Today Ross Rifles are pretty scarce as they were scrapped after a defect was discovered that wounded or killed several soldiers who fired them. The U.S. ordered a few of these as well. Overall, its in Good to Very Good condition.
