Winchester 45-70 Gov't Reloading Tools in Original Box for the Model 1886 Rifle |
Nice set of original Winchester Reloading Tools in 45-70 a.k.a. 45 Government consisting of the Model 1894 reloading tool and 5th model bullet mold with the wooden handles. They look hardly used and come in the original factory Winchester box. The box is in good condition with the end label pretty light but you can still read "Model 1894" and 45 Gov't. This would have most likely been sold for someone who had a Winchester Model 1886 Rifle, Carbine, or Musket in the 1890's but it would have most likely been purchased for most any 45-70 including the 1873, 1884, and 1888 Springfield Trapdoor, the Marlin Model 1881 or Model 1895 as well as various other models....even a Colt Gatling Gun. The tool does not have the little decapping pin rod for punching out spent primers but there are plenty of folks selling new pins on ebay if you need one. Great set and would look great next to a nice 1886 Rifle with case colors for display purposes. $575 |
