Smith & Wesson Pocket DA 38 in Box

Nice example of a S&W 3rd Model DA Pocket Revolver in .38 caliber in its original factory box.   Antique serial number in the 150,000 range...and dates to mid-late 1880's.   All matching numbers.   Standard nickel finish with 3-1/4" barrel.   Overall condition is Excellent Plus with 98% original nickel, bright vivid case colors on hammer and trigger, and strong original blue on trigger guard and latch.   Checkered hard rubber grips are in excellent condition with perfect fit.   No chips, cracks, or repairs.   Action is perfect.   Ejectors function flawlessly.   Bore is Excellent.   Box is in Very Good condition overall with a nice orange end label denoting this gun's proper model, finish and barrel configuration.   Serial number is lightly penciled on bottom of box and matches the serial number of the gun.
