Very interesting and very unique S&W Model 1 1/2, 2nd Issue Revolver in .32 Rimfire. It looks like a 2-tone nickel and blue finish with the blue worn mostly away while the frame still retains most of the original nickel plating. The 2nd Issue was made from 1868-1875 and this is one of the very last ones made. It has a very unique hump on the top of the back strap. Have no idea exactly what it's for...a shoulder stock mount, a rear sight, or a steady rest? There is a screw mounted on top as thought it could have had some sort of tang with and a little bead embedded in the original front sight. Good mechanics and bore. Nice original grips, markings, and edges. Never seen a Smith and Wesson like this before and if it isn't factory, it's at least period to to the 1870's and very well done.
