S&W Model 1-1/2 SA Revolver --Unfired, Minty, & in Orig. Box--

This is a nearly mint example of an early Model 1-1/2 Smith and Wesson Pocket Revolver still in its original box. Caliber .32 S&W, five shot cylinder, 3" barrel, and nickel finish. Early style top-break action with rebounding hammer, automatic ejector, and spur trigger. Approx. 97,000 units were manufactured from 1878 to 1892. This is an early one with a serial number in the 11,000 range. Note the early style hard rubber gutta percha grips without the S&W monogram at the top. 100% all matching numbers. See photos. Overall Condition grades easily into NRA Antique Excellent+++ with 99.9% original nickel intact. Strong blue on trigger and barrel latch. Nice case colors on hammer. Looking at the front and back of the cylinder, I see no evidence this revolver has ever been fired since it left the factory. Bore is mint. Mechanics are like new. The original box is complete and in Good Overall Condition with its interior cardboard partition intact. Outer skin of box is typical S&W maroon cloth. Instruction are located on inside of lid. Nice example of an early S&W pocket revolver that has never seen use.
