This is an original receipt from E. C. Meacham Arms Company of St. Louis, MO to Loewenstein Strousses Company of Mora, NM dated February 1890. The items on the receipt are 50-70 US Gov't Brass Cartridges w/ lowell primers and one Hopkins and Allen XL #4 Revolver in 38 rimfire. The bottom of the receipt notes these items were shipped by railroad to Las Vegas, NM. This receipt came from an old Colt collector who in turn purchased it from an old Colt collector 40 years ago. These are very hard to find.
