This is a sharp looking Colt New Line Revolver in Caliber 30 rimfire with nickel finish and scarce pearl grips. The left side of the barrel still has an excellent etched panel which reads "Colt New 30". Sharp barrel address. Side of the frame behind the recoil shield marked "30 CAL". Serial number is in the 5000 range and was made in 1875.
Overall condition is NRA Antique Excellent retaining approximately 95% original nickel with the balance freckled. Screws in good condition overall with sharp cylinder pin knurling that has never been chewed on with a wrench like so many we've seen over the years. Fine pearl grips have no chips or repairs....as fragile as pearls are, this is quite impressive to find ones this nice that have been on a gun for over 130 years.
