This is an old iron Colt Mold for the Model 1849 or 1855 Root pocket revolver.  The sprue cutter is marked "COLT'S PATENT".  It has dual cavities for casting conical and round projectiles.  Overall, in Good+ condition.  Would make a nice accessory to a pocket Colt percussion revolver.
