Original Pair of Colt 1860 Army Revolver Grips w/ Cartouches

This is an old pair of grips from a US Civil War issued Colt Model 1860 Army Revolver. These came from a friend of mine in upstate New York and I cannot help but wonder if these were from Bannerman's military surplus of NY or perhaps by a NY dealer during the postwar years who was installing a set of Ivories on a surplus military Colt for sale on the commercial market. They look like they've been in storage apart from a gun for over 100 years. They have not been cleaned; they have some small chips off the edges, but they're fairly solid with no major cracks or chips. Both military inspector cartouches are visible although the one on the left panel is partially worn. I know there is someone out there with a Colt Model 1860 needing a pair of original grips. These rarely turn up on the market today.
