Smith and Wesson No. 1 1/2 Revolver

This is a nice example of a S&W Model 1 1/2, 2nd issue is caliber .32 rimfire.  These were mfd from 1868 to 1875.  This particular gun has standard blued finish with 3 1/2" barrel, fluted cylinder and rosewood birds head grips.  Overall, NRA Antique Excellent condition with 97% frame blue, and 85-90% barrel and cylinder blue. Even high wear areas like the backstrap shows nearly all of its original blue. Ejector pin still shows light faded mottled case colors with brighter colors on the hammer.  Good screws and pins throughout.  Excellent rosewood grips have 90% original glossy piano varnish remaining with perfect wood to metal fit.  No chips, cracks, or repairs.  A very nice example of an early tip-up S&W.
